Getting Started

Yes, everyone can try SkillsWave for free with our Starter plan. This allows you to try out the all the core features of SkillsWave’s learning benefit platform, while streamlining and modernizing your corporate learning program. 

Every organization has different learning and upskilling needs. Above, you can see the features included in each of the different plans to support your specific needs. If you need help choosing, please reach out to our sales team.   

Our pricing is based on the amount of catalog customization, integration and support your company wants. As every organization has different learning and upskilling needs, we do offer add-on options for some of our plans. To find out more, please reach out to our sales team.  

Pricing and Payments

In addition to SkillsWave’s free version, there are 3 plans that you can choose from based on your company’s learning needs. You’ll find the differences of each plan listed above. 

With our Starter plan, we accept all major credit cards. For our Growth, Professional and Enterprise plans, we also accept bank transfers through our billing agreement. 

You can easily change your payment method when paying by credit card—just enter a new card number in our platform. If you are on our paid plans with monthly or annual billing, you can notify our contact for billing to update any payment information. 

For our paid plans, invoices and/or receipts will be issued for either the monthly or annually billed amount. For learning expenses incurred via the SkillsWave platform, you will also receive invoices and/or receipts monthly. In our Starter plan, a transaction receipt will be provided upon registration for any approved course/program.

SkillsWave’s free version is a great option for non-profits and startups. It provides you with full access to our learning benefit platform and its core features. 

Managing Your Plan

There are 3 plans that you can choose from, based on your company’s learning needs. You’ll find the differences of each plan listed above. You can contact our Billing department to make changes to your billing. If you are using our Free version, you can update credit card and coverage settings in your profile at any time.

Yes. Our team will be able to help you change your plan at any time. 

If you choose to upgrade your plan, your account will be upgraded and charged immediately. The amount due will be prorated based on the amount of time left in the billing cycle when the plan is changed. 

If you choose to downgrade your plan, your account will be downgraded at the end of your billing cycle.

Learning Usage and Costs

The pricing shown above is for the use of the SkillsWave learning benefit platform, giving you and your team access to 1000s of courses and programs from top tier education providers, a streamlined approval manager, insights to your learning program and AI-powered personalized learning pathways. Any costs associated with taking courses or programs will need to be paid either via credit card or invoice, depending on the plan. The cost of courses and programs are dictated by the learning provider and clearly listed in the catalog.  

There is no limit on how much learning your employees can take through SkillsWave. As an organization, you can determine the education benefit you want to provide for your employees and SkillsWave’s approval manager will help you manage that benefit, automatically allowing for learning expenses to be charged directly to you. Any learning cost above what has been approved by you will be charged to the employee.
